A Classic Charleston Spring at the Governor Thomas Bennett House
Mary and John welcomed May with a spring wedding in Charleston, South Carolina, beginning with a church ceremony before continuing the celebration at the Governor Thomas Bennett House. Jessica Skinner Events & Design brought the day together across both settings, with the historic estate and its garden grounds setting the tone for the afternoon.
Guests gathered for cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres from Hamby Catering & Events before moving beneath the reception tent. Live music from Now That’s Entertainment carried through cocktail hour and the reception, while pieces from Snyder Events and Charleston Tents & Events paired wooden chairs and flowing white linens with florals by Keepsakes Florist.
Mary and John shared their first dance before cutting into a cake finished with delicate sugar florals, while cowboy hats later made their way onto the dance floor as the celebration picked up pace.
