Courtyard Vows & Candlelight at Cannon Green
Rachel and Anthony celebrated their April wedding at Cannon Green in Charleston, South Carolina, as spring brought fresh color and warm afternoon light to the Lowcountry. Spellbound Events coordinated the day across the property’s garden courtyard and interiors, pairing soft blush, ivory, and champagne tones with the venue’s historic character.
Flora by Hannah filled the ceremony with blush garden roses, ivory hydrangeas, calla lilies, and trailing amaranthus, arranged in white urns along the aisle. Rachel and Anthony exchanged vows beside the reflecting pool before celebrating their first moments as newlyweds beneath the palms.
Cocktail hour continued in the courtyard, where pieces from Sawdust & Sweetgrass created relaxed lounge areas beneath the string lights. Guests gathered for handcrafted cocktails, fresh shucked oysters from the raw bar, and passed hors d’oeuvres before moving indoors for the reception.
Floral runners in blush, ivory, and champagne stretched across the tables alongside fluted glass candleholders, while the sweetheart table sat beneath a mural depicting a Lowcountry marsh at sunset. Rotie Music later took over the reception as guests filled the dance floor. N. Mickle Photography leans into the contrast between Cannon Green’s sunlit courtyard and candlelit interiors, tracing the celebration from the garden into the energy of the evening.
