Spring Above Charleston at Surcee’s

Surcee's
N. Mickle Photography

Tanner and Matt welcomed spring with a Charleston wedding that paired the city’s historic character with a refined palette of ivory and green. Everything After the Ring brought the celebration together, beginning with a ceremony surrounded by lush white florals before the festivities continued at Surcee’s.

Urns filled with white garden roses, ranunculus, and trailing greenery framed Tanner and Matt as they exchanged vows in front of family and friends. Afterward, guests gathered on Surcee’s rooftop terrace for cocktail hour as golden hour settled over the city. For the reception, garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, and green anthurium carried the ivory and green palette across the mantel and tables. Crisp white linens from Stradley Davidson Linen Collective paired with taper candles in glass hurricanes, bud vases, and understated table numbers before guests settled in for a plated dinner. Tanner and Matt later shared their first dance before cutting into a buttercream cake finished with piped swags and pearl details.

N. Mickle Photography draws on Charleston’s varied backdrops throughout the gallery, moving from sunlit green spaces and historic brick to the rooftop celebration at Surcee’s. As evening settled over the city, family and friends filled the dance floor around Tanner and Matt, bringing their spring celebration into the night.
