Louise and Anup welcomed the height of summer with a July wedding, beginning with a ceremony at Immanuel Episcopal Church before continuing the celebration at Hanover Tavern. The historic settings brought a distinctly Central Virginia character to the day, paired with a soft palette of blush, ivory, and sage green.
Louise carried a garden inspired bouquet by Flowers by Zoie, filled with pale pink roses, ranunculus, and delicate greenery. After exchanging vows, Louise and Anup stepped outside to a shower of flower petals from family and friends. Portraits carried them through Hanover’s historic surroundings, from a blooming crepe myrtle to the brick storefronts nearby.
Inside Hanover Tavern, string lights and exposed wooden beams framed tables dressed in crisp white linens and sage green runners. Gold chargers, candlelight, and low arrangements of blush roses, white ranunculus, baby’s breath, and greenery carried the ceremony palette into the reception, while greenery tucked along the windows added another garden inspired detail. Dinner and toasts eventually gave way to an evening on the dance floor. Amelia B. Photography draws on Hanover’s historic architecture and summer greenery throughout the gallery, moving between the church, brick streets, and intimate interiors of Hanover Tavern.
From the petal filled church exit to the candlelit reception, Louise and Anup’s July wedding paired soft garden florals and rustic details with the historic character of a Central Virginia summer celebration.
